The 2023 Nissan Ariya Is Going 17,000 Miles Pole-to-Pole Post

The 2023 Nissan Ariya is poised to revolutionize the EV market, and it’s getting plenty of attention. With Nissan’s recent announcement of a Pole-to-Pole trek in the all-new 2023 Ariya, interest in the EV has grown to a fever pitch. Here’s what you need to know about this exciting trip that’s set to push Nissan’s EV to its limits.

Nissan Announces a Pole-to-Pole Ariya Trip for 2023

Nissan recently gave details about a special partnership with adventurer and founder of Pole-to-Pole, Chris Ramsey. In 2023, Ramsey is set to drive a modified Ariya from the Magnetic North Pole all the way down to the South Pole. It’s nearly a 17,000-mile trip that shows just how far you can go behind the wheel of the Ariya.

Ramsey and his team are taking a special version of the Ariya on their trek. It’s equipped with e-4ORCE technology that allows for all-wheel control throughout the vehicle. This technology is Nissan’s latest and greatest update that enhances driver confidence. The all-wheel control technology properly manages both braking performance and power output for the ultimate smooth, stable drive. It also traces the intended driving line over any road surface you could encounter, including snowy or wet roads, without the need for changes in driving style.

Ramsey is an all-electric adventurer who previously drove the Nissan Leaf over 10,000 miles from the UK to Siberia. His goal is to show that electric vehicles can take on any terrain and any environment, from the bitter cold of the poles to arid deserts and humid jungles. His upcoming trip in the all-new Ariya with e-4ORCE technology will let him traverse some of the world’s most beautiful yet extreme environments, showing how EVs can be exhilarating to drive while meeting the daily demands of drivers.

In addition to the inclusion of e-4ORCE technology in the beefed-up Ariya that Ramsey will be using for his expedition, you can expect to see some other important upgrades. Based on renderings, the Pole-to-Pole Ariya should have large fender flares, a roof rack and off-road lights. There will also be suspension, tire and wheel upgrades, with a modified body that reflects those changes. The Ariya will be powered by a dual motor pumping out 389 hp with an estimated range of 265 miles.

Ramsey will start his expedition in March 2023. This exciting event is set to make waves in the EV industry, showing the world how versatile and capable EVs can really be.
