The Nissan Frontier is a powerful, agile truck that can get you around without a problem.
At Maus Nissan of New Port Richey, we carry multiple trims of the new Frontier. The S and SV are the first trims in the lineup. They’re available with King Cabs and Crew Cabs. In contrast, the Midnight Edition, Pro-X, and Pro-4X are only available with crew cabs. There’s one more trim as well. It’s the SV with a long bed and a crew cab.
The king cabs and the SV crew cab with the long bed all have 73.3-inch beds. The regular crew cabs, in comparison, have 58.9-inch beds. Whatever you decide, you’ll have overhead cargo bed lights and a dampened assist tailgate for convenience. You can also get a Frontier with under-rail lighting and a spray-on bedliner.
Inside the cabin of the Frontier, there could be leather upholstery and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The seats in the back row can flip up to give you more storage space, and some of the more advanced features include a heated steering wheel and heated front seats.
Nissan has given the Frontier a 3.8-liter V6 engine. This robust engine provides 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque, and you can choose from a rear-wheel or four-wheel drive drivetrain.
Smartphone compatibility and SiriusXM are standard. The Frontier comes with a touchscreen that either measures eight or nine inches, with the larger version coming with integrated navigation and Nissan.
Regarding safety, Nissan has worked hard to equip the Frontier with great features. Some of the standard systems include pedestrian detection and forward collision warning. Several more advanced systems are optional.
