The Kia Niro comes in a single option, eliminating the privilege of choice. You can get up to 253 miles of range and 201 horsepower, but commuters may not want to prioritize extra miles and HP over cost. To the average person just using this car to make it to work and back, and occasionally to the store, 149 miles is plenty to get them to where they need to go every day. When it comes time to charge the Niro, you could be waiting quite a while, taking over 40 minutes to get from 10-80%. You have to ask yourself, who is the Kia Niro really for?

low as $28,140. The Kia Niro may have some specs that’ll get people to listen, but when you
consider the cost (and how you have to pay even more for all the cool features), it doesn’t seem
very sustainable for the long haul. Our best advice is to not fall for all the unnecessary bells and
whistles and go with the 2025 Nissan Leaf for greater value.
