An In-Depth Look At The All-New 2023 Nissan Ariya Post

In the world of EVs, it feels like there's always some newcomer to the scene trying to make a splash. But often, those splashes tend to be more like drops in a bucket. Unfortunately, that isn't the case with the sleek, stylish, and versatile quiet lightning, otherwise known as the 2023 Nissan Ariya.

It's been over ten years since the Nissan Leaf took over the EV market, and we've been waiting for a follow-up ever since. Finally, the 2023 Nissan Ariya is making a tidal wave splash for EVs, and we couldn't be more excited here at Maus Nissan of New Port Richey. Thanks to our friends at the Roadshow and their YouTube page, we got an up-close and personal in-depth look at the all-new 2023 Nissan Ariya to share with you today!

Here are some of the highlights of the all-new 2023 Nissan Ariya as the team at Roadshow shares their experience with this game-changing EV in Madrid.

Engine & Performance

The all-new Ariya comes with two available power options. The first is a front-wheel-drive single motor version that comes with 214 horsepower. And the more powerful and durable second choice is the externally excited synchronous eight-pole dual motors that boost the horsepower up to 389 and features Nissan's innovative e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive transmission. e-4ORCE empowers the dual motors to vary the front to rear torque split and adjust the output and regeneration of each of the motors to help counter drive and squat motions.

Range

As far as range goes, the 2023 Nissan Ariya was designed and built to give the Tesla Model Y a run for its money, and it does just that! There are two battery sizes to choose from: a 63 or 87 kWh. For the 63-kWh battery pack, you'll have a range of 250 miles on a single charge, and with the bigger 87 kWh battery pack, you'll love the 300-mile range. In addition, every setup in the 2023 Nissan Ariya supports the DC fast charging at speeds of up to 130kW, and it does it using the universal CCS plug.

Interior Design & Features

Once you sit inside the Ariya, you'll discover a well-finished and surprisingly spacious cabin with twin 12.3-inch displays for instrumentation and infotainment front and center. Nissan cleaned up the interior of the Ariya to add a futuristic design focusing on simplicity and ease of operation while driving. For example, the heating and ventilation controls are designed using touch-sensitive buttons that are integrated into the face of the dashboard and use a haptic response. That and the audio and cruise controls on the face of the steering wheel are about the only physical switchgear you'll find inside. Everything else can be adjusted through the touchscreen infotainment system.
